TPRF Responds to Earthquake in Nepal

Our hearts go out to the people of Nepal. As you may know, a 7.8 earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday, April 25 with devastating results.
We are relieved to hear that no lives were lost in the area served by Food for People (FFP), though many villagers’ homes were damaged and people fear sleeping inside due to the ongoing aftershocks.
Beginning on the night of the quake, FFP staff and volunteers began providing shelter at the facility to 200 villagers and serving meals as needed to people from the surrounding area. We are working on assessing needs and a plan to supply ongoing essentials such as clean water, food, and supplies to people in the villages served by the program.
To contribute to this effort, please use this special donation form.
