Thanks in part to the generosity of TPRF constituents

, hundreds of people in the Far Rockaway community devastated by Superstorm Sandy enjoyed a hot, traditional Thanksgiving meal served by Rockaway Youth Task Force. About 300 residents gathered at the Nordeck Community Room, where RYTF served turkey and other traditional dishes. RYTF also organized volunteers to deliver hundreds of meals to those who cannot leave their homes, including many elders.
