Flooding at Ivory's Rock The lake near the Pavilion overflowing The lake near the Pavilion overflowing

Flooding at Ivory's Rock - January 2011
Thanks for the concerned messages we have received from
our interstate and overseas friends.

We like to offer a heartfelt message of support to everyone
in Queensland and now Brisbane impacted by the floods.

Ivory's Rock Conference Centre (Amaroo) is currently safe
from the record rains and floods effecting south-east Queensland.
Most of the property is located on rising ground. However, many of the creeks on the property are very full.

The lake near the Pavilion overflowed recently, which means there may be some damage to the service road below the lake.
Rain continues to fall and so the situation is being closely monitored. The mowing team are certainly going to be working overtime!
