Flood help pours in

RENOWNED speaker Prem Rawat is in the country to assist the flood-affected residents in the Western Division.

His foundation — the Prem Rawat Foundation gave $50,000 to the Empower Pacific, formerly Pacific Counselling and Social Services, to manage the water project.

"This is just a small donation being made and I really hope that will help the affected people in Fiji," Mr Rawat said.

"The money is from the good wishers and we hope it will be also useful to the people of Fiji.

"There is no scale for human suffering but there is one thing as human beings we can do and that is to alleviate the sufferings through these natural causes and that is being the sole goal of this foundation," he said.
