Something really special happened in Texas last week, and we’d like to share the news. On Wednesday, January 25 Prem Rawat spoke at the Dominguez State Jail to inmates who have been attending his Peace Education Program. Participants had the opportunity to interact, ask questions, and share some laughs with him.
The following morning he addressed students and professors at the University of Texas, San Antonio campus where State Representative Joaquin Castro awarded Prem Rawat with a State Resolution and honorary title of Mayor of San Antonio.
Excitement was in the air, and several media news crews filmed the event. Check out this short TV clip from Univision and see for yourself.

On the road Report: India Tour - Fall 2011 From late September to early November, Maharaji traveled India to speak about a very fundamental subject: peace. With the help of volunteers, formerly spare grounds were made festive with garlands, fabric and dyed powders, giving each event a feeling of joy and celebration. Queridos amigos:

Adivino que habría cerca de 2,000 peronas en el evento!

Antes de que Maharaji saliera al escenario, como siempre, mostraron unos videos cortos en los que se dijo que: "Maharaji ha viajado el equivalente de 8 veces a la luna desde que empezó a llevar su mensaje de paz al mundo." Siempre se ha dicho que: "Estar en la compañía del Maestro es como haber hecho mil meditaciones....y esto es así".

Cuando Maharaji salió al escenario, como es habitual, todos nos pusimos de pié para darle la bienvenida, mientras aplaudíamos y levantábamos los brazos como queriendo abrazar su energía y sentir su mágica presencia envolviendo el espacio... Nos deseó un feliz año y empezó diciendo: "Quieren noticias nuevas? Sabían que una abeja puede dar la vuelta al mundo con solo un galón de miel? Habló de su enfoque y de su claridad... ellas no se distraen por esto o por aquello, su foco es estar allí para la miel y punto.

Habló de cómo es que hay personas que pasan la vida esperando algo, esperando a alguien o esperando a que suceda algo. Como por ejemplo el que está esperando a Dios y cierra los ojos y luego mira al cielo. O el impaciente que espera el autobús, o la persona que espera que su pareja cambie (no cambiará nunca) porque esta persona es así. No tenemos que cambiar la naturaleza de las personas... Lo importante es estar siempre conscientes de esta naturaleza. No podemos perder el foco.

"Alguna vez habeis visto la trayectoria de un río desde un avión? Este río en su trayectoria, primero es una gota, después va creciendo, se bate con las piedras y sigue fluyendo hasta desembocar en el mar... (the river is always ready) el río siempre está listo para juntarse con el mar...sus aguas dulces se mezclan con las saladas y las acepta a pesar de su sal... las aguas se miran turbias en relación al mar...se sedimentan....y ese es el final de su trayectoria....(always ready to get there) siempre listas para llegar hasta su destino".

"La tierra, cuando está abierta, cuando tiene sed, se abre en unas rendijas enormes y grietas, hasta que llega la lluvia y la recibe...siempre lista para saciar su sed. La hierba siempre está lista para recibir la lluvia...y tú? Estás esperando o estás listo? "Are you waiting or are you ready?".

Decía que no debemos creer en todas las historias que nos cuentan...existe mucha ilusión. Fué muy claro al decir que "no esperes nada" y que "hemos de estar listos en cada momento". Lo más importante dijo: " es que estamos vivos y hemos de estar conscientes de ello, sin perder el enfoque" (Don't lose your focus).

No debemos estar tan pendientes de lo que está ocurriendo allá afuera...ni intentes estar bien para los demás...debes estar bien para tí mismo... De tanto esperar, de repente, pasan las horas y los días y perdistes el tren...No sigas esperando...has de estar listo...vive ahora!

Estuvo deliciosamente cómico, divertido, relajado... era su primer evento de este año...al final dijo: "No diré a donde voy porque este año "IRÉ A TODAS PARTES"

Estas palabras de despedida calaron hondas en mi corazón...me llenó de esperanzas de volverlo a ver.... quién sabe si AQUI?

WOPG’s Global Peace Initiative (GPI) is happy to announce a new, simpler way for people interested in Prem Rawat’s message to get The Keys.

Historically, the process of getting Keys 1-5 has been a little complicated, requiring online registration and five rounds of back-and-forth shipping and handling. Plus, even if you liked Keys 1-5, you couldn’t keep them.

That’s why GPI is launching a new, streamlined approach for 2012 — one that will enable everyone to own a set of Keys 1-5 instead of going through the hassle of borrowing them. This is being launched in North America first and will soon be available in other regions.

Here’s How It Works:

Buy your own set of Keys 1-5 at the Long Beach event (1/29) or, if you live in North America,online through the Keys page on the WOPG website (beginning of February).
When you receive them, keep them for yourself or give them to a friend who is asking to learn more about Maharaji’s message.
If you keep The Keys, view them at your leisure. You now own them.
If you give The Keys to a friend, consider buying a replacement set so you can always have one on hand.

The Benefits of This Approach:

Premium Channel Update

Dear Blanca,

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who responded so positively to the recent announcement of the new Premium Channel. I really enjoyed reading all of your supportive emails and posts. They were very encouraging.

Unfortunately there were some technical challenges for people accessing the site through certain browsers, but we're happy to say that we've now resolved it. If you were one of those people, please accept our apologies and try again.

The Premium Channel, as you may know, will be featuring a brand new, first run event video each and every Friday night. The first video from 2012 will be available two weeks after the January 22nd event in Miami. You will also be able to download your own copy of the event — and every event to follow — via the online store.

You may be wondering why it takes us two weeks to get a new video online. Simply put, we are now producing everything in full HD quality and are still learning the ins and outs of how to produce such high quality videos in the most efficient way possible. We are making great progress and very much appreciate your patience.

The Premium Channel is a pay-per-view channel and will, hopefully, generate enough revenue to pay for WOPG’s streaming video production costs for 2012.

Querido/a Blanca:

Al comenzar el Nuevo Año, estoy encantado de anunciaros que sin duda lo nuevo va a ser el tema de 2012, un año que se presenta lleno de noticias emocionantes para aquellos de nosotros comprometidos en ayudar a que el mensaje de paz de Maharaji salga a este mundo.

La perspectiva de Maharaji es audaz: que todo ser humano sobre el planeta Tierra tenga una oportunidad de oír hablar de la posibilidad de paz en su vida. Son muchas personas (7.000 millones) y va a requerir de todos nosotros un esfuerzo inspirado, cooperativo y efectivo.

Por eso estoy encantado de invitarte a la próxima “Reunión de lanzamiento” de GPI(Iniciativas de Paz Global), una animada reunión local en la que tendrás la oportunidad no sólo de recibir información actualizada sobre la labor de Maharaji sino también decompartir lo que has estado haciendo, resolver dudas y conectar con otras personas.

(En caso de que aún no lo sepas, GPI es un departamento nuevo diseñado para apoyar a las personas interesadas en que el mensaje de Maharaji esté disponible en todo el mundo).

En la reunión recibirás información actualizada sobre nuevos y emocionantes proyectos de GPI, entre los que se incluyen videos de presentación, las Llaves, la línea de información y otros recursos valiosos tanto para ti como para tu comunidad.

También tendrás la oportunidad de conocer los “Kits para iniciativas”, recientemente creados, que traen materiales de apoyo para ayudar a comunicar el mensaje de Maharaji en universidades, bibliotecas, casas particulares, eventos locales o de forma individual.

Si estás interesado en participar, no dudes en asistir (e invita a tus amigos que compartan la misma pasión) a este evento que será presentado por un miembro del equipo de GPI.

Para aqueles que desejam ter outros DVDs para emprestar ou presentear os amigos com uma mensagem que fala direto ao coração, há também a possibilidade de serem enviados mais DVDs ao custo adicional de R$ 10,00 cada um.
